I love that this was a labour of love for him. Also in the comments, he’s said that he works on this 3-10 hours per day, 5 days a week. He just wanted it to be perfect.
(but seriously, imagine learning almost every part on almost every song on an album/soundtrack).
Good job, sir 🙂

This is NUTS. NUTS MAN.
I registered on Newgrounds a few weeks ago and PMd GaMetal myself, but I wanted to post a little something here as well (since this is the first site that appears when searching Google for the track).
As a hobbyist composer and sound designer, I must say I’m really, truly, ultra super addicted to this SMRPG medley. I must’ve played it dozens upon dozens of times in the last month. Everything just seems perfect–the choice of instruments, the playing, the soloing, the drum sequencing, the mixing/mastering–truly the ultimate tribute to perhaps the greatest soundtrack to grace the SNES (which is a tough feat taking other great games like the DKCs, EarthBound and Chrono Trigger into consideration).
If you ever read this GaMetal, thank you so much for crafting such an incredibly lovely tribute! Truly appreciated more than you know it!
